Illinois State Redbirds welcome Parker Terch to the family!
Terch, a 6′-2″ 194 lb. defenseman is an Edwardsville, IL native. He joins the Redbirds after a successful season with the USPHL’s Minnesota Moose.
Terch chose ISU because “Illinois State is close to home, a great area, and a great place to play hockey.” He currently is an Accounting major. “My AAA Coach Mathew Buha gave me a chance to play at a high level and helped develop me into the hockey player I am today,” Terch stated. Parker’s biggest supporter is his father. Parker stated that, “my goal in AAA hockey against Anaheim Junior Ducks to put us up by one against them in the playoffs.” Terch said his favorite hockey memory was, “the first-ever goal I scored when I was young.” Parker is looking forward to winning a national hockey championship.
“Parker’s an excellent defenseman with a lot of experience playing at a high level. He is going to come into our program and make an impact immediately and I look forward to helping him continue to develop!” – Coach Chris Prewitt.
