ISU Hockey Welcomes Logan Skocaj!

Illinois State Hockey welcomes Logan Skocaj to the family! Logan is currently finishing up the 2024-25 season with the Orland Park Vikings 18U Central States team! In 27 games, the Vikings forward has 10 goals and 5 assists!
The Pekin native, Logan decided to come to ISU because, “it’s close to home, has my major, and has good club hockey.” While at ISU, Skocaj intends to major in cybersecurity. He also looks forward to playing hockey and starting a new chapter in his life at ISU.
When asked about who his favorite coach was, Logan replied with, “my favorite coach I’ve had is Bo Cheesman because on top of being a good coach he really cared about his players and did a lot for us.” Skocaj stated that his biggest supporter is his dad. Logan credits that his biggest goal was, “my game winner in the national tournament my u16 year to keep us in the 1 seed going into bracket play.” Skocaj mentioned that his favorite hockey memory was winning nationals in his U16 year in Dallas.

If Skocaj could be an animal, he would be an eagle so he could fly around. Logan has one sibling; a sister named Hope. His favorite food is steak.
