Chesney, a 5′-10″ 161 lb. forward is an Elgin, IL native. He joins the Redbirds after a very successful season with the Peoria Mustangs in the NA3HL.

Ethan’s biggest supporter is his family, “They have been with me through it all and they will always continue to do so.” Ethan stated that his biggest goal was, “When I got called up to the Springfield Jr Blues in the NAHL and we went to a shootout and I scored the game-winning goal.” Chesney expressed his favorite hockey memory was, “getting to play at the United Center when I was a little kid!” Ethan has three siblings; Josh, Ben, and Chace. Chesney is looking forward to continuing to play hockey and hopefully win a championship.
“We couldn’t be more excited to add a player like Chez to our roster. His experience and skill are going to make a major impact on our organization and I look forward to helping him continue that success at the college level!” – Coach Chris Prewitt.
